Merry Christmas Everyone!

Faith makes all things possible,

Hope makes all things work,
Love makes all things beautiful.
May you have all the three for this Christmas.

Merry Christmas To All!

Christmas is a time when
everybody wants his past forgotten
and his present remembered.
Merry Chrismtas

Christmas Is Cancelled

Police set up a roadblock and ordered residents to turn off their Christmas displays after a street was inundated with people coming to view them.
Authorities were concerned the influx of spectators was making the area unsafe after cars begun to block the roads around Hedge End, Hampshire.
The intervention left locals angry, with the winter wonderland-inspired light displays having originally been set up for charity.
‘Can’t believe people would complain about this! We have just been and it was magical and all for charity!’ wrote Facebook user Carly Hughes.
The police were alerted to the build-up of people in the area by a concerned resident and kept the roadblock up until traffic had cleared.
Officials allowed the 12 houses with outside lights to switch them back on once things had calmed down.
The annual display, which started a decade ago, has this year raised £25,000.

The Destruction of Super Typhoon Yolanda

The most powerful tropical cyclone of the year hit the Philippines on November 8, 2013. Super typhoon Yolanda (International codename: Haiyan) barreled through most of the Visayas, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.

As you all may know, it caused havoc to the provinces of the Visayas displacing thousands of houses and establishments and thousands been killed and missing. There are so many aids pouring from all over the world with the United Kingdom as the topnotch donor of aid.

As the aids are pouring, the distribution of the basic commodities like food, water, shelter were very slow and politicking was a usual occurence. Most of the items never reached the victims or there were some slow pace distributions to the affected.

I know that Samar and Leyte provinces will recover and rehabilitate soon with the help of our prayers and the agencies that are responsible in restoring back to normal. Let us just hope that there will be no more calamities that will undergo Philippines.
